Coping Cards: Developing Coping Skills

$7.00

Most people will experience stress, anxiety, or depression in their lifetime so it’s important to have a list of coping skills you can utilize during these times. Please note these skills are most effective when practiced repeatedly during a calm time so they come more naturally during difficult times.

This set includes 23 downloadable cards (4 pages with 6 cards each) filled with evidence-based coping skills/strategies to help you navigate life. While these cards include evidence-based practices, please note they are not meant to be a replacement for therapy.

In this deck you will find breathing exercises for all ages, “here and now” activities to help you become more present, tips for challenging negative thought patterns, journal prompts, tips for focusing on what is within your control, strategies that help with overwhelm and de-escalation, steps for regulating your emotions, guided imagery prompts, positive sensory distractions, grounding exercises, and mindfulness reminders.

These cards make a great gift for someone you love who is currently going through a difficult time, therapists/mental health providers who want to provide their clients additional resources, or for individuals who recognize they need additional support.
